Dear Friends of St. Michael Church,

                        Christ is Baptized!

                In the Jordan!

       Since the Feast of the Radiant Resurrection is so early this year, we find our liturgical calendar already preparing us for the Great Fast. 

       The Gospel message is clear — Jesus is the Light that the prophets announced, and He teaches us through the parable of the Publican and Pharisee that humility is the way to attract God's attention.  Remember, we are not the originators of good deeds as the Pharisee thought.  God's grace enables us to accomplish them.  For this reason we should be always humbly grateful for the privledge to profess our faith through works.

          Chalv'u Bohu! — Praise God!
